Alpha Xi Delta

Alpha Kappa at Kansas State University

Letter From Membership Vice President

Hi Potential New Members and Parents!

My name is Jillian Rockley, and I have the privilege of being the Alpha Kappa chapter of Alpha Xi Delta’s membership vice president for the 2024 formal recruitment season. I am a sophomore studying pre-medical biochemistry, and I can’t begin to describe the excitement and pride I feel for my position! The opportunity to invite you all into our home in just a few months is something that fills me with emotion and excitement!

If you’re reading this, get excited! Coming to college is a life-changing experience, and joining a sorority is a great way to find your people and get settled into a new environment. Sorority involvement allows for opportunities to grow in service, sisterhood, and campus involvement. Whether you’re seeking out a leadership position, service hours, or a new community of loving and supportive women, Alpha Xi Delta is a great place to look. Our sisterhood is truly amazing, and I am so honored to get to share it with you.

The decision to become an Alpha Xi Delta is one that has enriched my college experience in a way that is greater than any other decision I've made so far. Before becoming a member of Alpha Xi Delta, I struggled to make deep connections with my peers and community. Since joining, my life has changed tremendously. I’ve met my best friends, become engaged and involved with other organizations, and have been able to give back to a local organization that provides so much to others within the Manhattan community. Being surrounded by amazing women who I get to call my sisters has easily had the most impact on me during my time at Kansas State. My sisters are my cheerleaders, my shoulders to cry on, and my biggest supporters throughout my highs and lows. The sisterhood I’ve found in Alpha Xi Delta encourages me to Realize My Potential daily, and I can’t imagine my time at Kansas State University without them. The women of Alpha Xi Delta are truly my home away from home, and I can’t imagine leaving them in just a few semesters.

I hope that you find comfort in my words, and consider what it might look like to find YOUR home in Alpha Xi Delta during your time at Kansas State.  If you have any questions about sorority life, college, recruitment, or Alpha Xi Delta, don’t hesitate to reach out to me! I am honored to be in this position, and desire nothing more than to help you find your home.

With love,

Jillian Rockley
