Fall '24 Primary Recruitment Information

Primary Panhellenic Recruitment is a mutual selection process that takes place in the fall before the academic semester begins. This year, the first round of formal recruitment begins August 12, 2024. Recruitment will consist of four rounds -- Open House, Philanthropy, Sisterhood & House Tours, and Preference. These rounds will take place at the respective locations of each chapters' house. All PNMs will be provided with a Recruitment Guide to help answer any questions and guide them throughout this process.

Important Dates & Information:

May 1st - Registration Opens.

August 1st - Registration Closes.

August 10-11th - Move-In Days. All PNMs will check into their residence halls. If the PNM lives off-campus, they will need to be moved into their home on this date.

August 11th - Virtual Open House. Our magazine will be posted on the PHC canvas page.

August 12th - Philanthropy. The maximum number of chapters that a PNM will visit is 10. These events last 35-minutes with 20-minute breaks to allow for travel between neighborhoods. During this round, PNMs will learn about chapters' values, service and philanthropy.

August 13th - Sisterhood & House Tours. The maximum number of chapters that a PNM can visit for this round is 6. Events will be 50-minutes with 20-minute breaks. During this round PNMs will receive information concerning each chapter's member expectations, as well as financial, housing, community service, and academic obligations. PNMs will also be given a house tour of the facility to get a better idea of what each chapter house looks like. Additionally, each sorority will emphasize the unique bonds of sisterhood and its values. 

August 14th - Preference. PNMs will have the opportunity to attend up to 2 chapters. Events will last 1 hour with 20-minute breaks to allow for travel. PNMs will talk more in-depth with members about their sorority experience and why their chapter is important to them. Chapters will hold special ceremonies unique to their own values and traditions.

August 14th - Bid Night. PNMs will meet with their recruitment groups at Bosco Student Plaza on campus to open their bid cards together. After opening, all new members will run to Anderson lawn and meet up with their new sisters. At this point, chapters may host an evening of fun and safe activities at their respective houses.
