Alpha Kappa

at Kansas State University

In history, Homecoming has been an important tradition of the non-Greek and Greek organizations alike at Kansas State University. Some of the events chapters compete in include the Float Competition, Yard Art, Wildcat Request Live, Pant The Chant, Paint The Ville, and more. Alpha Xi Delta placed in various events of homecomings and look forward to this campus tradition every year!

Alpha Xi Delta holds multiple date parties during each semester! All of our date parties have themes of all different types. Themes in the past have included Tacky Christmas, Hawaiian, Rock and Roll, and Space/Aliens! We also have a Semi-Formal in the Fall and a long tradition of a Pink Rose Formal in the Spring. In addition to our date parties, we also plan functions with different fraternities and sororities. These can be anything from doing activities to benefit our philanthropies. Each function is different and is a great way to meet new people in the Greek chapters.

During the fall semester we have Dad's weekend as well as Siblings Weekend and In the spring semester Alpha Xi celebrates Mom's weekend! This is a great chance for the girls to show our families and friends the fun we have at K-State.

Alpha Xi Delta's national philanthropy is Autism Speaks. Our chapter takes part in various activities each year to help raise money and awareness for this charity. Alpha Xi Delta currently is the highest grossing chapter on K-State campus. Each Fall we host a 5K race called The AmaXIng 5K challenge. We also host Fiesta FrenXi, an all you can eat Nacho Bar. In the Spring we host Xi Man, A male pagaent where fraternity men enter and compete as representations of their chapters in which our members act as coaches!

The women of Alpha Xi Delta stay busy on K-State campus and Manhattan Community!
